About Our Student Drop-In Center

What is a GOAL student drop-in center? It is a dedicated space designed to support GOAL High School students and families. These centers offer a welcoming, comfortable and secure environment. Our friendly staff are here to warmly assist you with academic, social-emotional or technology needs. You can connect with your academic coach, teachers, counselors and any other staff members who are eager to build relationships and help you thrive. All GOAL students are encouraged to visit any of the forty drop-in centers around the state. Come and experience the caring and personalized support we offer firsthand!

Hello Gladiators! I am thrilled to lead the Southern Region of GOAL High School. Stretching from Pueblo, through Trinidad, all the way to the 4 corners area, this region is one of the largest in the state. The students, communities and staff make up an exciting, diverse and powerful group indeed! I am so thrilled to see us continue our growth in developing “Productive Members of Society!”

Hello Gladiators! My name is Marcie Knezel, and I am the Assistant Principal for Trinidad. Our site is located in the heart of downtown Trinidad directly above the newly developed food court at The MarketPlace. We encourage our students to drop in to receive support as needed. This includes the following: joining pod activities, conferences, academic tutoring, workshops, field trips and much more!! Our staff is dedicated to building individual plans for students to support them in reaching their future goals. We also empower our students to embrace opportunities offered through our Concurrent Enrollment, Career and Tech and eSports programs. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in this community and look forward to serving our students for many more years to come.
